Pharmaceutical Name: nandrolone phenylpropionate Chemical Structure: 17β-Hydroxyestra-4-en-3-one Effective Dose: 200-600 mg/week Durabolin is very similar to Deca-Durabolin in its chemical structure, it is simply another form of nandrolone, or more exactly it is a nadrolone with shorter ester attached to it. Thus it has shorter half-life and must be used more frequently (most bodybuilders inject Durabolin every 3 days). Also, nandrolone levels in blood peak much sooner with Durabolin than with Deca Durabolin. Nandrolone phenylpropionate has strong anabolic effects and relatively mild androgenic effects, this feature makes it good choice for those prone to androgenic side-effects. Nandrolone seems to have beneficial influence on connective tissue (joints) through its anti-inflammatory effects and increased collagen synthesis. Interestingly, nandrolone phenylpropionate seems to significantly increase the number of androgenic receptors. One of the most beneficial effects of nandrolone is that it helps to shed the subcutaneous fat tissue. This action is more pronounced with higher doses. Probably the main difference between Durabolin and Deca Durabolin is that Durabolin doesn’t cause water retention, or at least in much smaller scale. Safety: Nandrolone has the strongest testosterone-inhibiting effects of all known anabolic steroids. Ancillary medication is therefore a must. Also, it is important to stress that nandrolone in any form can cause damage to epithelial tissue of blood vessels.
